This program was established to promote and extend quality education and higher education opportunities, through scholarships, for refugees and poor children from some of the most deserving places around the world.
HHRD’s Education Support Program was established to promote and extend quality education and higher education opportunities to orphans, refugees, and other deserving children and individuals around the world. The program now serves the needy in Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, India, Kenya, Uganda, Bosnia, Haiti, Thailand, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Somalia.
Anower Shah, residing at Refugee camp-15 Jamtoli sub-block, D-5, expresses gratitude to the HHRD Learning Centre. His father, Md. Zubair, works as a farmer, while his mother, Arefa, is a housewife. Having been part of the HHRD Learning Center for three years, Anower progressed from kindergarten to grade 6, excelling in subjects like English, Mathematics, Burmese, Science, History, and Geography. The dedicated teachers, along with materials like bags, shoes, books, and daily essentials provided by the center, have significantly aided his education. Anower is particularly thankful for the lunch, snacks, and overall support, hoping for continued assistance from the HHRD Learning Center.
