HHRD’s Lebanon Humanitarian Relief campaign began in August 2024 with the first intervention taking place in the southern locations of Tyre and Nabatiyeh on September 19th. Lebanon saw one of its deadliest days on September 23, and as of November 10, 1,000+ have died, 8,450+ injured, and approximately 1 million affected, out of which 35% are children. As the numbers unfortunately continue to increase, urgent humanitarian aid is crucial.
By Nov 10th, 2024, through several interventions of around half-a-million dollars, HHRD has provided several cooked meals & Dignity Packages which have served 16,000+ families (approximately 80,000 beneficiaries). All this has been possible thanks to donors like you. Provisions include: Mattresses Hygiene Items: Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Towel, Soap, etc. Food: Canned Food, Tea, Rice, Lentils, Oil, Dry Milk, Sugar, Flour, Salt, Cheese, etc. The people of Lebanon are still in desperate need of assistance. Please continue to provide much-needed support through your donations.
HHRD has been responding to the needs of the local Lebanese population, Palestinian refugees, and Syrian refugees since 2012 with several programs, including Skills Development, Education Support, Water and Sanitation-Hygiene, Food Distribution, And Emergency Relief. After the explosion of 2020, HHRD began several more short and long-term developmental projects through vetted partner NGOs, with HHRD’s registered office in Jordan overseeing the works. As the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon escalates, HHRD continues to provide immediate relief and long-term rehabilitation efforts.
